All-Star Bands help all musicians
We form an All-Star-Band at the end of most events. Musicians and singers present are invited to participate and perform folk classics together, showcasing our musician Community.
Join us and lead a song or just play along. The pic shows an All star band at a Greenbushes Acoustic Picnic.

Acoustic Circles
We love our Acoustic Music Circles on a Sunday morning. This one is held inside our ‘Shed’, the Historic Football Clubhouse at the Greenbushes RV Park. So much fun!

Skillshare and Workshops
At camp-overs participants are invited to share some of their skills. This picture shows a guitar workshop during the January camp-over.

Acoustic sessions at RSL hall
We start at 1:30pm, to allow visitors the trip home safely before dark.

Our Shed - Historic Football Clubhouse in Greenbushes
We mainly perform outdoors in nature. For meetings at night time or during inclement weather, we have adopted the Historic Football Clubhouse at the RV Park in Greenbushes. The shed was build by local volunteers, from locally donated timer, milled in the local mill and put up by volunteer football players. The football club folded in 1980 and then the local Cricket club used it for a few more years before it became vacant. The Shed neither has doors nor windows, but a solid floor and great acoustics. Perfect for our gatherings.

Acoustic Music and Bush Poetry Camp-Overs - Unplugged
About four times a year we hold camp-overs at the RV Park in Greenbushes. We partner with Greenbushes Acoustic. We usually start on Friday night with music jams, performances and workshops throughout the weekend, including public events around town. We aim to be waste-free and people bring everything they need. The camp-over usually ends on Sunday at 12 pm.
The next campover is from 19-21 December 2025.

Acoustic Instruments Only
We focus on acoustic instruments which can be played without amplification. We use a small Roland cube to project the voices. Brass instruments are welcome. Please leave your drum kit at home.
We welcome musicians of all abilities, same for singers.

Blackboard Concerts
Most picnics are run as a blackboard concert. Write your name on the board at the start of the event and perform up to three songs or poems when it is your turn.
The crowd will be listening with kind and encouraging support. Give it a go.

Collaboration with other groups in Greenbushes
We do not work in isolation but support all groups in Greenbushes, including but not limited to the CWA Greenbushes Belles at their Olde Tyme Tea in the Garden event, the Greenbushes Community Garden at their Pizza and Live Music events, Potluck dinners, and much more.
