South West Acoustic Circle is reaching out to other acoustic musicians, poets and singers in the South West of Western Australia.
We have created a facebook page South West Acoustic Circle and a Facebook Community Group that is connected to it. Check both sites for updates and feel free to post your events and jams on these sites. The Community Group has 29 members as of 1 October 2025.

Green Herring Oz
Green Herring are singer-song-writers from Greenbushes. They write songs for the earth, and take people on a journey to inform and inspire around environmental themes. Their music aims to give hope in a time of climate emergency. Green Herring Oz is made up of Irma Lachmund and Lee Goodall, here with Andrew Hardy on the bass.

John Matthews
John Matthews has been a long-term supporter of community music. He is a passionate singer-song writer, multi-instrumentalist and story teller, with experience of over 40 years, in Australia, Canada, and around the world.

Boodji Creek
Boodji Creek plays celtic and bluegrass tunes and songs with fiddle, mandolin, guitar, double bass and dobro. Excellent instrument skills and tight harmonies will delight listeners of all ages. Be prepared to hear a large range of music that travels from the lonesome sound of a sentimental waltz through to fast-driving fiddle tunes interspersed with traditional songs from the bluegrass repertoire. Boodjii Creek are sure to get your feet tapping.
